Kashmir gardens generate Rs 37 crore revenue in 4 years | KNO

Srinagar, Dec 19 (KNO): Over the past four years, the revenue generated from entry tickets, permissions for videography, and the sale of plant material in various gardens and parks in Kashmir valley has totaled Rs 37 crore. According to official data accessed by news agency—Kashmir news observer (KNO), in 2021-22, revenue generated from entry tickets, videography permissions, and the sale of plant material rose to Rs 6.70 crore. This upward trend continued in 2022-23, with a footfall of 60.48 lakh visitors contributing to Rs 13.46 crore in revenue. In 2023-24, footfall further increased to 65.74 lakh, generating Rs 14.35 crore in revenue—(KNO)
